GIGA-GOODS privacy statement
May 25, 2018
Your privacy is of great importance to GIGA-GOODS. We therefore comply with the privacy law. This means that your data is safe with us and that we always use it properly. In this privacy statement, we explain what we at GIGA-GOODS.com all do with the information we learn about you.
If you have any questions, or want to know exactly what we keep of you, please contact GIGA-GOODS.
When you place an order with us, we use your personal data to be able to handle it properly. We may then give your personal details to our delivery service to have the order delivered to you. We also receive information about your payment from your bank or credit card company.
For this we use your payment details, name and address, e-mail address, telephone number and billing address. We need these to process your order as well as possible. We keep this information until your order is completed and seven years after that (that is the legal storage obligation).
Providing to third parties
We work with certain external companies that can receive your personal data from us above: our payment provider to complete your transaction (eg via credit card) and various postal companies to deliver your order.
If you want to register with us as a customer, you must provide information about yourself in the form of your name and address, e-mail address, telephone number and billing address and choose a user name. With this we create an account, on which you can log in with that username and a self-chosen password.
We keep your data so that you do not have to re-enter them every time and so that we can approach you more easily if necessary. You can adjust all information through your account whenever you want. We keep this information until you cancel the account.
With the contact form you can ask us questions or make requests.
For this we use your e-mail address and name and address details. We need this to be able to answer your (in) question as well as possible. We keep this information until we are sure that you are satisfied with our response.
You can subscribe to our newsletter. Here you can read news, tips and information about our products and services. You can cancel this subscription at any time. Each newsletter contains an unsubscribe link. Your e-mail address will only be added to the list of subscribers with your permission. This data is saved until you cancel the subscription.
Providing to third parties
We send our newsletter with an external mail service provider. This provider has access to limited account information related to opt-in permission (for example: e-mail address).
Our webshop has general advertisements. We do not keep personal data, so we do not know if you like it.
Provision to other companies or institutions
With the exception of the aforementioned partners, we will not, under any circumstances, provide your personal data to other companies or institutions, unless we are legally obliged to do so (for example, if the police require this if there is a suspicion of a crime).
Social media buttons are included in our web store. With this, the administrators of these services collect your personal data.
